DUB Memphis

The second stop of the Monster Energy 2009 DUB Show Tour made its way to Memphis, Tennessee on Saturday, April 18 at the Cook Convention Center. The event featured tons of the hottest cars that Memphis and surrounding areas had to offer. Car culture is certainly strong in Memphis as more than 16 thousand people showed up for an afternoon of fun, entertainment and loads of eye candy in the form of highly customized vehicles.

The Ball Up Tour featured some of the most well known and talented names in street ball playing a game on a full court inside the Convention Center. Such players like "The Professor," "Hawk," and "Bad Santa" were in attendance, showing off their impressive moves on the court. The Monster Energy lounge provided guests with a place to relax, while drinking some of its most popular flavors. The booth also housed Kawasaki street bikes from the bike team.

While there were tons of customized cars to feast your eyes on, the one that really stood out was the $2-million Scythe concept car by Galpin Auto Sports at the Pirelli booth featuring a hand-made composite body, voice-activated onboard computer system, and a twin-supercharged 1,005-horsepower engine! Another crowd favorite was the Tribute to Lowriding that brought the Memphis area lowriding clubs with their old school classics. The Custom Bike Showcase featured some of the sickest creations you'll ever see on two wheels
